About PrismPro
PrismPro is a macOS image workflow app for browsing, inspecting, organizing, and preparing image libraries. It supports local metadata inspection, thumbnail review, duplicate detection, batch image operations, watermarking, prompt and generation metadata review, AI-assisted tagging, and dataset preparation workflows.
PrismPro is designed around local-first workflows. Core browsing, metadata, indexing, duplicate detection, export, and dataset preparation run on your Mac.
System Requirements
- macOS 15.5 or later.
- A Mac that can run the current Mac App Store version of PrismPro.
- Optional AI Assist features may require LM Studio or an external provider that you configure yourself.
Getting Started
- Open PrismPro.
- Add or select an image folder when prompted.
- Use the sidebar to browse folders and workspaces.
- Select an image to inspect metadata, prompts, tags, and file details.
- Use the toolbar and context menus for export, metadata, duplicate review, AI Assist, and dataset tools.
PrismPro uses the macOS app sandbox. If a folder stops loading after it is moved or renamed, add the folder again so macOS can grant access to the new location.
Restore Purchase
If you bought the full unlock through the Mac App Store, you can restore it from inside PrismPro.
- Open PrismPro.
- Open Settings.
- Select the Unlock section.
- Click Restore Purchase.
Use the same Apple ID that made the original purchase. If restore still fails, restart PrismPro, confirm you are signed in to the Mac App Store, and try again.
Common Issues
Folders or images do not appear
- Confirm the folder contains supported image files.
- If the folder was moved, renamed, or restored from backup, add it to PrismPro again.
- Check that the files are available locally if they are stored in iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or another synced folder.
Metadata or thumbnails look stale
- Refresh the folder or reopen the workspace.
- If files were edited outside PrismPro, allow the folder to rescan before checking again.
- For persistent problems, remove the folder from the workspace and add it again.
AI Assist does not respond
- Check the AI Assist settings in PrismPro.
- For LM Studio, confirm the local server is running and the selected model is loaded.
- For an external provider, confirm the endpoint, model name, and API key are correct.
- External API keys are stored in your macOS Keychain.
PromptPro handoff does not open
- Open PromptPro once, then try Send to PromptPro again.
- Confirm PromptPro is installed and supports the local handoff workflow.
Privacy
PrismPro does not require a PrismPro cloud account. The app's core workflows run locally on your Mac. Optional AI features only send selected content to the local or external provider you configure.
