Products and Licenses

BitByBit provides macOS applications, including URLPro, PrismPro, PromptPro, and CntrlPro. A purchase grants the license described for the selected product and tier; it does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual-property rights.

Unless a product page states otherwise, licenses are personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable if these terms are breached. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, or modify the software except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

Current prices are published on the Pricing page in EUR and include VAT. Prices, product availability, and license tiers may change before checkout.

Where checkout is provided through Paddle, Paddle processes the transaction and related tax handling under the checkout terms presented to you. BitByBit does not receive your full payment-card details.

System-Change Tools

Some apps, especially CntrlPro, can inspect or change local system settings, processes, services, containers, caches, fan behavior, and other local configuration. Use these features only when you understand their effect and have backups of important data and configuration.

Do not use destructive or system-changing features when you are unsure how they work. See the separate CntrlPro Terms and EULA for CntrlPro-specific conditions.

Acceptable Use

You may use the software only on Macs that you own or control, in accordance with applicable law and the product documentation. You are responsible for your data, backups, configured third-party services, API keys, and use of any optional AI, browser, Docker, Homebrew, or other external tools.

Updates and Availability

BitByBit may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue software features, downloads, documentation, or support. Updates may be necessary for compatibility, security, or product changes.

Refunds

Our voluntary refund policy is described on the Refund Policy. It applies only to material, reproducible app problems that support cannot resolve, fix, or reasonably work around, reported within 14 calendar days of purchase and before more than 8 total hours of app use. It is not an unconditional trial. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the software and website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. BitByBit does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every system or third-party service, or that the software will meet every requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitByBit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profit, business, or system configuration. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Privacy and Changes

Use of the website is also governed by the Privacy Policy. These terms may be updated when products, distribution, or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an effective update means acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
